Rockhopper’s Penguins Around The World Video

Greetings Penguins,

Happy77 here. We had an idea to make a video out of all the amazing photos you’ve sent in. Since Rockhopper’s here for the Island Adventure Party, we thought we should make one with pictures of him. Look at all the places he’s been!

What do you think? 🙂

I’d like to make another video like this with your pictures of Gary the Gadget Guy or Herbert next. But we need your pictures to make it happen! Send in your pictures by clicking here.

Nice! Though the idea is cool but I’d also LOVE to see a ‘behind the scenes’ video of Club Penguin HQ! WHat do you think?

Club Penguin Helps Terminally Ill Kids!

We all know Club Penguin’s membership funds have a good sum that goes to good causes like the poor in Africa, children hospitals, zoo support, etc. Now Club Penguin joined the Canuck Place Children’s Hospice to have terminally ill children over to the Club Penguin HQ and have some fun activities!

Check out the video below:

Cute! 🙂 Also here’s an article about the event from :

Billybob aka Lane Mirrifield is this guy here from the video:

Billybob had quite a good part of the cause. Also Club Penguin showcases its fan’s fan art at the Club Penguin HQ!

Also here’s a Club Penguin board game the kids were playing which isn’t released to the stores yet! I wonder if it will be available to buy!

After all it’s Disney’s tradition to help children in need. See? Disney isn’t that bad either! 🙂

Reviewed by You: Island Adventure!

Last week Billybob asked us our favorite adventure we had in Club Penguin and Lilly2722’s featured comment said:

My favorite adventure was way back in March, The Expedition party, when we were lost in the forest, but to my surprise, once you finished the leafy maze and fixed the contraption, we sailed across a lake and came to the Brown puffle’s hidden cave! This was definitely my favorite party!

The brown puffle discovery was sure an awesome surprise! And penguins could have adopted them that same day! The thing is, Lilly2722, the Expedition Party wasn’t in March. 🙂

We all do mistakes now do we? 🙂 This week Billybob asks us, we’d like to hear your stories about pirates, mermaids, castaways…What is your favorite part of the party?

Island Adventure Party 2011 is here!

Arr me hearties! It’s time for the Island Adventure Party and we have your all access pass to everything.

Rockhopper Items:

If you go to Rockhopper’s ship which is docked at the Beach, there is a catalog full of items including a free bandana. 😀

If you go to the Hidden Lake, you can buy a blue crab  costume for 50 coins.

Missing Cream Soda!

How can a pirate celebrate a party without cream soda?! Rockhopper had cream soda in Migrator but they’ve disappeared! There are poster all over Club Penguin, on Rockhopper’s notice board and on the newspaper! You can help!

Click on one of the posters and click Go There! or just go to the Pizza Parlor.

There you’ll see this paper right next to the door:

Click on it and it reads:

The chefs are asking you to go to the Migrator (the ship docked at the Beach)

Now go downstairs and you’ll see another note, click on it and you get an Eyepatch pin…

and the note reads…

Go to the Iceberg (click on map and click on the iceberg at the top right) there you’ll notice a shadow of a giant squid…

… feed it by throwing snowballs which turn to fish (throw snowball by pressing T or click on snowball button). The giant squid leaves and leaves a Telescope pin!

Click on it and you recieve a Telecope pin…

and yet another note…

Click on the map and head off to the Dock. A square falls on the small ship! Rejoin the pieces in the correct order and places.

To that it finishes like this:

A feather and a note fall off, click on them and you get the feather pin.

Now you have a Feather pin!

The note says…

Now where on earth can we find these birds? The birds are at the Tree  Forts, which you get there by going up on a tree ladder at the Forest.

Once you get there, there is a simple memory game. The birds chant and each drum represent a group of birds. Click on the drums in the correct order the groups of birds sing…

and a key pops up there! Go near it and click on it.

You get another pin (wow lots of pins today!)

and the last note which tell you to go dig at the Cove.

Go to the map and to the Cove…

Now wear a Mine hat and ONLY the mine hat no other items. If you don’t have a mine hat you can walk over to the driller and hat to pick up a free one.  And dance (by pressing D) and you’ll be drilling.

Drill EXACTLY the spot X and after some time..

Hey! There they are!! Oh and look a free item The Continental hat!

Plus a note from Rockhopper himself!

No problem Rockhopper! Hey check it out, though Club Penguin has been making too many hats as free items but this one seems cool like it’s members only! Now I’m not only a pirate but also a pirate caption! Yarr harr!

Crab Quest:

Fosters, I have to leave this for you as this is member’s only and as you know I’m not a member. Thanks! 🙂 Also if you want you can add stuff you want me to do to the to-do list above I might remove the post on top and make the list as widget though.

Happy77 now a You Tube partner + Beta Team new games review!

Beta Team Update

Hello Penguins!

Remember when we mentioned Beta Team a few posts ago? We’ve added some new prototypes to the site for you game testers!

If you haven’t come across the Beta testing site yet, click here… Here are some things to remember while testing:

  • The only way to log onto Beta Team is by finding a hidden link on the blog…
  • Only a certain number of penguins can test at the same time
  • There’s a 10 minute timer on the site at the moment, so you may get disconnected while playing some of the rough prototypes
  • There will be bugs, because it’s a test site!

Thanks for testing… Let us know which Beta Team game has been your favorite, and what you’d like to see more of in the comments below.

Until next time…Waddle on!
