It is the first furniture catalog of 2012. This month’s Better Igloos catalog of January 2012 features some cool new and returned furniture related to the underwater and the beach relating to the Underwater Expedition 2012. Check them out!

Underwater Expedition 2012 will be here January 26, and penguins on the island are getting ready by putting on some weight at the Beach so the island is tilted! Check out the Beach right now.
On January 26 we’ll find out for the first time how the Beach looks like when it’s sunk! 🙂
Yet another Underwater Expedition sneak peek and advertisement is uploaded on Club Penguin’s You Tube channel.
Underwater Expedition is a week away, and Club Penguin has already pulled up an update of the Underwater Party on the homepage.
It’s nice but there is something a bit strange. Why is Rookie so concerned about and why aren’t the penguins smiling much? Does it have to do with the crabs and EPF during the Underwater Expedition?
Also Club Penguin updated the Underwater Expedition to advertise membership as some parts of the party will require it.
So it IS confirmed there will be a maze under the island, and will be members only. I wonder what is so special at the end of the maze that Club Penguin is hiding…
Let’s take a break from Club Penguin blogging for now. As you may have noticed, today I slightly changed the header to protest together with many of the Internet, against SOPA and PIPA.
Now enough bragging. What is this SOPA and PIPA everyone is talking about you may ask? SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect IP Act) are two new bills proposed to the US Congress. Both bills goal are mainly to end piracy and illegal content on the internet. Sounds all good for now, but when passed experts say it might threat the internet. The US Congress will have power over all the internet to censor and will delete any links, pictures, videos and all these kinds without any warning. This could mean big problems to many websites especially to blogs, social networks and search engines. To make things worse, US Congress might also censor content inappropriately and make the internet like a US-propagandized world.
SOPA first brought up in October 2011 and PIPA in May 2011, the two bills are in consideration in the next few weeks. Large websites are already protesting against Internet Censorship as you may know; Wikipedia (who had a blackout), Google, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit and much, much more today January 18 2012, is Stop Internet Censorship Day. It is the largest online protest in history.
I am proud to say Penguin Ville is joining the resistance. Though a small website we can still help as both bills can also be a threat to the Club Penguin blogging community in the future.
Keep in mind I am only summarizing the whole thing in a few words. So if you are interested take a looks at the links below:
- PROTECT-IP BILL: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd?bill=s112-968
It’s been 2 weeks since last pin, so it’s time for a new pin. This is the first pin of 2012. The new pin is the Conch Shell Pin and is at the Iceberg.
