Club Penguin membership Page Gets An Overhaul

Club Penguin website has been receiving quite a lot of changes lately and the membership page in particular was changed for a lot of times. Yet again the Club Penguin membership page got an update with an update look of penguins and more information.

The first thing you’ll notice are the membership options  of 1 Moth, 6 Month or 12 Month being fixed at the top of the page even when scrolling. At the top of the page you can click on the pictures to get more information about membership benefits.

Below the membership benefits are what is coming to members only this month, kind of like what we had on the membership page on 2011, and like the Upcoming Events on the Club Penguin Times. I say this is the best new addition to the new page!

Next is the Gift cards and Membership cards section, here you can purchase them online or see where to buy them. Of course you can also activate your membership here by clicking on ‘Activate Now’ and enter your code on the gift/membership card.

Note when you click on ‘Activate Now’, you get new interesting dialog box where you can log in or create a new penguin. Why is it interesting? Check out the new penguin design at the right of the dialog box:

When you choose create a new penguin you get this dialog box. It’s a new way for parents to create a penguin for their child. Notice once again the new penguin design!

And that’s about it! What do you think of the new look of the membership page? I think I like it, especially the new section where it features what’s coming for members this month. We’ll update you when there are interesting updates to that section… who knows maybe we’ll get sneak peeks of what’s coming before they are announced like in 2011! 😀

Rockhopper’s Quest Log-In Screen

Woah, lots of sudden events in 2012! Yet none major parties for now! Club Penguin Times announced the Rockhopper’s Quest to start this month and the usual, Club Penguin updates its member log-in screen to advertise membership events.

New Cub Penguin Membership Cards… including a 3-Month!

3-Month Membership was an offer during Summer 2009, for 101 Days of Fun. After then it wasn’t mentioned anymore.

Now it seems the 3-Month membership is making a comeback and thsi tiem permanently! The game card came with the new membership cards on the Target website. Check them out:

Also notice this time the 3 Month membership price has increased from 2009 because of the membership prices increase in mid-2011. I think it’s fairly priced. SO do you think a 3 month membership is a better deal?

Soon In September: Club Penguin Fair 2011 in Updated Membership page!

The membership page with What’s New has been updated, but there isn’t really anything new of what’s coming this month 😛 BUT there is news about next month!

• Get wicked sports clothing items from the Penguin Style catalog.
• Turn your igloo into an extreme park
• Agents – Pick up Elite Gear and prepare for a critical operation
• And coming in September: The Great Puffle Circus returns with The Fair!

Yet again another Fair and another Puffle Circus but hey this year is the Brown Puffle’s first Fair so there must be a new performance at the circus. Also, do you remember when Billybob asked us to decide about an animal costume?

Billybob announces the results: You chose the Cow and the Chicken costumes! The team’s excited to get to work on these! Plus because so many of you liked the Horse costume, they’re planning to work on that one later. Thanks to everyone who voted!

So the team will work on the horse ‘later’ … hmm.. do you think the Farm animals will be at The Fair? And maybe perhaps another ‘Farm party’ in September? Maybe there WILL be new stuff coming in September afterall!

What do you think of the membership cost increase?

A few weeks ago Club Penguin raised the membership prices which some hated, some didn’t care much. So our last poll question was this: What do you think of the membership cost increase?And here are the results:

Looks like the majority think it’s all garbage and there won’t be real improvements at all (20 votes) BUT a less number of people think that Club Penguin will need more money to make more new good stuff (15 votes). And 7 don’t care. 😆
